Amiee’s Place is a non-profit foundation that provides resources and advocacy for families of young adults 18-30 with cancer or other life threatening illnesses when resources are not available. The foundation aids in food provision, transportation, and even provides medications not covered by insurance funds. The money goes directly to them and their caregivers to help with quality of life needs.
The foundation was born after the director’s daughter passed away from her three-year battle with head and neck cancer.
