Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark is a non-profit shelter organization for animals. Their mission is to prevent cruelty of animals, provide care to the homeless animals and educate the community in responsible animal care.
The organization was founded in 1966 by a few dedicated and compassionate individuals who wanted to give homeless and suffering animals a second chance in life. In 1978, the organization formally had a physical shelter over the heads of the rescued animals. In 1983, led by then board president Rev. Ruth Mohring, the organization adopted a “no-kill” philosophy.
