Kekkaishi 結界師 (Barrier Masters) is about two heirs to rival barrier users’ clan who have to defend their school from spirits drawn to the sacred land it is built upon. Thus begins Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura’s journey of strengthening and learning their arts, and each other. Even though they are rivals, they both yearn for harmony between their two families, which later on becomes reality when they all band together to fend off evil.
